RRS 2.7tdi 2009 and 160,000 miles on the clock, My sport has a low speed judder every now and then, it has been regular serviced at the dealership and had a full gearbox flush 15,000 miles ago, or 15 months ago, it has now gone in for repair as they mentioned its a well known fault and the gearbox will have to be stripped down, luckily i have a mechanical insurance and is covered by that i pay only the first 150 quid or $300 being in NZ, the sport did go in to limp mode very often and thrown up various dash lights being gearbox fault, the question i am asking is when they strip/overhaul or fix the faulty parts is it best to change the torque converter as well as in previous post i have read that the torque converter can cause the judder also. |
