I have had a good look on the forum but can’t find the answer - can anyone tell me how to get the car to tell me how many miles are left before an oil change is due? SDV6 MY14 AB.

I’m particularly mindful of this due to potential oil dilution issues and want to keep tabs on it.

I’ve looked carefully in the “service” menu and there is definitely nothing there - only the oil dipstick display.

I fear it may be something you cannot find out until it flashes up that a service is due...?

from memory your in the right place
but
go a bit lower in the menu, its !next service due!
gives miles to next service and miles to DEF top up

Put the ignition on but don't turn engine over. Press menu, scroll down to the bottom option and it's there with tyre pressures, oil level etc.

Thanks guys but I definitely do not have that in my service menu - must be as mine is a MY14 that it's different to yours.

I tried again today and it's nowhere to be found... If anyone else happens to have any ideas, they'd be very welcome!

Ive just check my14 ab & it doesn't show when next service due so as you say Punkawallah it must just be on the later models.

i dont think you can check when the next service is due - I will check again but I dont think I have ever seen this (MY18 RRS).

Thanks - my car is currently in for the carplay update and more so wafting around in a Discovery which surprisingly drives quit nicely I will check when the car is back sometime next week
