Originally had a build date of 31/10/18 for my MY19 RRS 5.0SCAB but then changed to 8/11/18 to include a VIP “in line” experience to see my car being built.

However, got an email from JLR today saying due to the Solihull factory closing for 2 weeks in October, my build has been put back to the 23/11/18.

Anyone else getting delays to their order build?

I also wonder how long from the build date to the delivery to customer date...

Any advice welcome.

To quote JLR's own lies published on their website and in every UK newspaper;

“Customer orders in the system will not be impacted"

If motoring journalists actually did some real journalism instead of taking paid for test drives in exotic locations and verbatim reprinting of the manufacturers lies, we might be more informed.
