Just about to purchase a 60,000mls one owner full history 4.4 Autobiography.What should l be looking/listening for,is there extended warranties available from JLR.Is there the same engine issues that the 3.0 seems to be suffering from ie crank failures.Bought a 3 year old RRS a few year ago against the advice of a few friends and finished up having two and a half years of the best motoring ever so l do understand its a bit of a lottery just looking for a few pointers.

Morning Tommy,,as far as I know I haven’t heard any issues with the crankshaft failure with the 4.4 sdv8 & as for warranty if your buying from Lr dealers you will get the approved used warranty but remember it’s not the same as the 3 year warranty you get when new.If it’s not from a Lr dealer then you can still purchase their warranty but it will have to go into a Lr workshop for a health check before they approve the warranty.

Really like my 4.4 SDV8 . I especially like that add blue is not fitted, which may or may not be the case in the UK. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

If it isa 2015 car then unless it is 2016MY from October 2015 it problaby won’t have Adblu which came in 2016min the UK IIRC 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
