Im looking into purchasing a tdV8 for my wife.

What should I be looking out for, any issues etc

In a word, turbos
Make sure which ever car you look at is well serviced, lots of oil and filter changes. I change mine every 5k, always let it tick over after every run to let the turbos cool.
The other issue on the TDV8 is the dynamic stability arbs which leak more the rear than front it can be a costly repair.
After that your looking at the same problems as on D3s. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
