problem with fuel gauge and remaining range indication

hi all

We are having problems with the fuel gauge on our new RRs P400 e Hybrid had the car just over a month and just under 1000 miles covered.

The car has run out of petrol once despite the gauge reading a qtr of a tank left and range showing as 100+ miles

Has been in for repair but problem does not seem to be resolved.

Gauge appears stuck at a qtr tank and remaining mileage has just increased by 50miles despite having no fuel added and having travelled 30 mileson the jorney !!!

Has anybody else had this issue ? is it a common fault ?

I had a recall for this on my 400e so I'm surprised you haven't had it fixed.

Thanks for the info, it is going back in tomorrow.

Hopefully they can manage to find the info this time and carry out a proper repair.

When did you get the recall roughly ?

Has it been ok since the repair ?

On a positive note how are you finding the car ?

I've not had problems with the gauge at all. it was replaced about 2 months ago.

Overall I love the car now I've got used to the idea of a PHEV, and the only issues I've had are a few 'bugs' in the infotainment. It's in today for a software update which I hope will fix.

I think the main issues seem to be around the delivery of the new car, the MY19 version and of course mine is now the old version, being delivered in May, but it doesn't bother me as mine will remain rated at 65 CO2 whereas all new cars are 73 or more so mine will become a collectors car Laughing

Do you like yours?

Yes very pleased with ours other than the fuel gauge issue, main worry is the dealer seems clueless in dealing with it

Everything else is working fine and as fan of electric cars just pleased to be able to steer the wife away from wanting the SVR !!

I will update after tomorrows visit
