power steering

The alternator packed up on my 08 tdv8 which i changed ,since then the power steering has got heavy,no leaks or anything,the rest of the car is fine ,is it a software issue ,all the dealers want me to book it in but i am not prepared to do that ,dont like their prices .

That, or the lower UJ is seizing up

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

The air suspension control module is on the a-pillar up behind the dash on the driver's side. It's accessed from the footwell relatively easily.

When he says "check the module for fault codes" that means sticking a suitable reader in the OBD port. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
