Well after 3 years of predictable (expensive) ownership my 4.2 sc my 2005 has now been sold and replaced with an immaculate 2010 e90 M3. I have been desperate to get back into a sports car and once I realized I couldn't afford the new shape it was time to leave.

Thanks to everyone on here it really is a brilliantly run and informative site, ill be staying around as i will probably be pining for a 5.0 sc before long, keep up the good work guys.

I miss my M3 terribly. Even the SC doesn’t have anything approaching the fun of the F80 M3. I swapped the F80 and the 2010 V8 L320 daily runaround for the SC. Dumb thing to do. Enjoy the M3, I will be back in one soonish I hope.  Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
