2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

No.1 Its £7284 cheaper. Which would make the difference as to whether it was cost effective to keep the car or scrap it.
Never that simple though. Need engine ecu, wiring loom? injectors on and on...

It’s a bit of both, Syl. The cost of ancillaries, brakes etc is generally higher for the bigger engine vehicles but, overall, the manufacturers will charge what they think people will pay.

An interesting example of a manufacturer not profiteering is Ford’s UK pricing for the latest Mustang. The 5.0 V8 GT is only £5k more than the 2.3 four cylinder.
