Condenser is the most common area, big exposed rad at the front of the car...

And the gas is bloody expensive. Around £100 per kilo...

Had mine done twice in a month but both times, reported as no leaks found, and it's going off again

Modern day A/C machines are rubbish at detecting leaks imo. They test for leaks whilst the system is in a vacuumed state which unless there is a big hole they will pass the vacuum test every time, making you believe the system is fit for charging. The only way we test properly is to fill the system with compressed air to around 8 bar (which is rest pressure on a hot day), then soak the various components (mainly the condenser as its the most popular spot for leaks) with soapy water then the locate the leak from there.

Seems like mine has stopped working again. Another £150 for a months working air con. Supposed to have die in the system but apparently no leaks
