VPLSS0139 Aperture Retention Net 12MY Help

I'm hoping someone can help me with this accessory.

I bought this accessory recently from a forum member who also has exactly the same spec car as mine 2012 Autobiography Sport MY12.

When I have gone to fit the net it seems I don't have the holes with plastic surrounds to fit the net. I have checked topic and it states 12MY but the model year is 2013. The car is registered in 2012. I'm now thoroughly confused as to what I have and what 'MY' it is.

Does anyone know if the holes are behind there somewhere and can I retrofit the plastic trim to hold it in place?
