[quote="Stevepd"]That’s great news  . Do you do scheduled oil changes or do you do addition changes.

My youngest sister’s 2006 RRS 2.7S is getting on for the same miles and gets similar treatment. Last year she replaced it with a new Audi Q5.......... after two replacement Q5’s in 9 months she’s back driving her 2006 RRS as they didn’t sell it just passed it on to one of their sons as his family car! Maintenance was similar to Ronnie’s - it also gets used offroad on their farm track to their house daily so the transfer box works fine too. The Audi’s had all sorts of issues with suspension and trim self destructing - I doubt they will ever buy another. When I first had a Land Rover my brother-in-law described owners of JLR products as “bampots and needing their heid looked at” just waiting for the car to go wrong, when their RRS got to 200,000 miles he relented on that and now all Audi buyers are classed as bam pots! His employees have a fleet of 1990’s 200TDi Defenders and some S3’s as company cars, slow and uncomfortable but they never go wrong with the right maintenance and the guys love them, taking far greater care of their company wheels than when they all had Fiesta vans, they are also appreciating company assets! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Nice to hear, I loved my Sports, and would have gone for another one, it was only the thought of a broken crankshaft and the cost involved that made me jump ship. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

So relieved to read this as I've only had mine for a couple of months and have a few small issues and all you keep hearing is negativity, but I can't help feeling that most people who slate them who aren't on the forum are just jealous. I just can't help but love mine. A lot to do with it is good maintenance as you are obviously aware, so keep up the good work 👍🏻 |

I wish it was only good maintenance, however quite a few very low mileage vehicles have gone bang. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
