England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Firenze Red
Location of the fuel burning heater ?

Hi Guys.

Got my sport back yesterday woohoo Thumbs Up

Where is the location of the fuel burning heater on the L494 sport ! Sounds like a daft question but can't see it under the bonnet ! Is it in a different position then the L320 sports ?

On the spec sheet Mine says it has the fuel burning heater but no park heating, I'm guessing like the last l320's we can add the park heating with a reciever, software update and remote ? Just can't seem to find anything online about the L494 fuel operated heater just loads about the older L320's system !!

I guess the fuel operated heater is standard on Autobiography spec ? It used to be on the old shape sport from HSE and above if I remember correctly.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Tom.

Tom - you need to update your profile add your L494 spec & MY as a one liner in your signature. This may aid answers & a quick response.

According to the brochures, always been optional from MY14 onward on all models. On MY17, you can remotely start the engine anyway so it becomes fairly redundant as a passenger aid (though could still be useful for some to heat the engine). RRS MY17 SDV6 AB

Hi Guys.

Thanks for the replies as always Thumbs Up

Typical land rover making it a option even on Autobiography !!! I wish I had more time this weekend so I could be polishing my sport but this weekend I have two family Birthdays to attend Rolling Eyes Would rather be working on my sport Mr. Green

Anyway my spec sheet says, Fuel burning heater and then the next line down it says no park heating. By the sounds of it I have the night heater but no timed climate. As long as I have the night (diesel) heater I can get this park heating fitted with the reciever and programming like the old sports which was possible Thumbs Up

Will go outside in my garage in a bit and have a look under the bonnet on the left side for this night heater Thumbs Up

Cheers.
