Sat nav reroute option

I have an MY18 with the dual screen system.

When inputting a new destination the sat nav presents route options but once on the journey it automatically re-routes rathrr than peesnting options (as the manual suggests). Does anyone know how to configure it to do so?

The sat nav has taken me down some funny roads.

Think it is a a JLR quirk.

There must be an option somewhere lol. Have you been into the Navigation options menu?

Agree, think the JLR programmer who wrote the routing program is having a proper belly laugh somewhere Laughing

Yer I've been into the options menu but can't find anything relevant.

The car was in for a software update at the weekend and I asked one of the sales guy, I picked one who was just out of short pants so thought he must understand tech .... but to no avail - he didn't have a clue.

This is the first Land Rover I've and I was still under the misguided view that the sales people would actually understand the product they sell Rolling Eyes

I've noticed they're getting more and more hit and miss with their user manuals.

Large chunks of stuff is just there in the most vague of terms.

I will have a look in mine tomorrow and see if I can see something!
