I have an RRS2007 and am about to fix roof bars. 2 of the plastic screws had to be drilled out as they had broken in the fixing and the threads now need to be rethreaded. 1. Does anyone know what size the holes are? Also a good rethreading tool that will allow me to rethread them? if you can help on either I would be grateful.

I dont see any load carrying spec for that set up. Whats it rated to? Merc C220 estate Sport AMG

If the threads are badly damage you can actualy unscrew the boss and replace it completely, Part No. AYR500061 about £3.50 each.
