Canada 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Fuji White
Changing things up from street to off road

I purchased my l320 5 years ago and modified it for street use on clean dry pavement. Upgraded the wheels with. 22” low pro, installed the super sport exhaust by quicksilver, remapped and pulley swapped. I didn’t drive it a lot, but I loved it. My daily driver which is set up for over landing, is getting worn out for the long trips. Originally I considered selling the l320 and buying a new truck but then thought, why not change things up with the l320 and set it up for daily driving as well as off road fun.

It’s currently getting reprogrammed for a 2” lift and I have gone back to the factory wheels for now with some aggressive 32” AT’s

Eventually I will outfit with a roof rack, I’d like to fit a light bar in the lower opening in the bumper if possible.

Curious as to what you are going to do to your L320
Have you gone back to 20” or 19” rims and what tyre size?
What tyres give you 32”?
Are you fitting some lift rods, like Johnson’s, or just programming the 2” lift with IID tool?
If later, what would happen if a bag had a leak, as I assume the corner would drop to the bump and be undriveable?
FYI, I’ve had a 32” curved lightbar fitted for a while, works great!

I have been advised that a 20” wheel is the smallest I can go. For now I have gone back to the 20” factory wheels (Im thinking a Mantra wheel in the future) and I’ve also been advised to go no larger than a 275/55/r20 unless I want to trim to fit without rubbing. I picked out the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT’s as they looked like a nice and aggressive tire. I went with a 2” lift rod and reprogramming the height setting. To be honest this is going to be a learning curve as I only recently decided to go this direction and have no clue what I’m getting into with these changes! I will have to confirm the question regarding the airbag failure.

-love the light bar. Did you install yourself? Did you wire it in with your high beams or do you have a switch?

Cheers.

-Evan

That will certainly be a good choice of tyres, will look good and no doubt perform great
Don’t know what model you have, but many have a 19” stock rim and tyre 255 / 50 / 19, so can go to 255 / 55 R19 for some decent tyres, maybe even larger don’t know
I know others run 19’s as give more sidewall, taller tyre and more comfort

Yes I did fit myself, I wired to high beam, though want to wire back to a switch at some point but didn’t fancy going through the firewall with wiring RRS L320 2010 facelift model 3L TDV6

Shame that’s a L494 not a L320
I believe there are a couple of options for 18” wheels on L320, from Compomotive or TuffAnt, which clear the brakes with the right offset
Personally was tempted by these, but for now will stick to 19’s and get some new tyres on RRS L320 2010 facelift model 3L TDV6
