Discrete Wireless Charging?

Hi folks.. just registered here and have a question if you don’t mind. I’m after some form of elegant wireless charging. I don’t want the LR branded cup holder add on as it will get in the way. Ideally, I’d like a wireless charging aftermarket product that will replace the little tray under the armrest.
I have a 2018 SVR (first Land Rover and love it by the way) and can’t find anything on t’interwebs that might do the trick. I’ve even thought about affixing a QI charging pad to the underside of the tray, but I think the plastic is too thick.. Sad

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
Ta

I don't think sadly you have much choice and even the cup holder wireless charger doesn't work on non-Apple devices (currently).

For now I've bought a very short USB-C cable and have it coming out of the centre console then lay my Samsung G8+ flat on the tray but like you I would prefer something neater and have thought along the same lines.

If you come across anything please update here and if I do I will.

Hi.. thanks for this.
The website doesn’t give much detail on where it goes in the car, or how to install. Have you purchased/installed this yourself? Or are you linked to the seller?

Doesn’t necessarily matter either way, just wanted to know whether it goes under the climate control console on the dash (which is what the video clip on the website appears to show) or if it fits in the armrest as it says in the description?

Grateful for any further info. My RRSport is 2018, hence don’t want to purchase if the item or install won’t work.
Thanks!

I emailed them to see if it would fit in my MY16, they sent this video:

It looks a bit of a fiddle to install but looks good once done, it replaces the little tray under the heater controls. MY19 RRS Autobiography Dynamic 3.0 sdv6, Carpathian Grey, black pan roof, black pack, black 22’s, black side steps, ebony/ebony interior

they don't make them any easier to take apart.

But a professional result.
You can't see the display, but not a problem on the modern system

I like the fact that this looks completely OEM, even if the install is a little extreme. Probably worth it for a proper job.
My issue, however, is that I have the facelifted TouchPro Duo interior, and I don’t have that tray. From memory, I’m certain I don’t have space to slide a phone under there.

Personally, I would have thought the better place for this (for reasons of install) would have been to replace the armrest inner tray. Maybe somebody will make one! Fingers crossed.

Sound like a real first world problem!
I wired in a wireless charger cradle in to my 2012 RRS by running a usb from passenger footwell to just right of dashboard so that wires were completely hindden but i could see display when driving. Plea ty of units available depending on if you want windscreen or vent fixing

I think talking about wireless charging in a £100k car probably puts this thread well-past first world problems!
Back to my first post though, I’m very aware there are a hundred-and-one clip to the dash type holders, but the point is I wanted the unobtrusive look of the OEM element. I don’t want to see it or use it while driving either, for obvious reasons..

I’ll have to continue to resort to plugging in the cable! For now...
