I agree Tony the main dealer cars seem to have been uncared for and not prepped well at all.

Marshall Newbury have a large selection of nice SVR’s currently. I was quite keen on their 8k miles Black car until the misses noticed the stretch in the paintwork due a crease repair in the nearside rear door. Shame. But agree that they will be the dealership weekend take home car of choice Gone:

SVRs are short ownership cars. Talking to some dealers, 6 months to a year at max. They get abused for the short time they are owned and then are returned as they are not a particularly good "everyday" car. Its not an excuse for a poorly present car at a dealership, but just a viewpoint 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit |

Love mine, used every day, including just taking it to the south of France. Dealer remarks just make me laugh, taken with a pinch of salt. |

I bet if said dealer had the car on his forecourt he wouldn’t be saying ( ow don’t buy that it’s been thrashed & abused).

I know two people who use SVRs as daily drivers and one has owned his for nearly three years, the other only 6 months so time will tell on that one.

When I was looking for my RRS none of the cars I went to see had been prepared at all. The one at a Williams dealership even took a big lurch to the left on braking during a test drive, "its been stood for a few days, probably just needs the discs cleaning". Yeah right. It wasn't as if it was in generally good condition with kerbed wheels and bramble rash down the nearside and was filthy inside, probably mums taxi. I walked away from that one.
