18" LR3 wheels on RRS

Hi Gents,

I have been through this forum and although very useful information I can't really find a straight forward answer.

I have a MY08 RRS HSE and it came with 20" 275/40/20. I am considering doing a bit of offroad (ocasional) and take the girl around Marroco sometime.

I am considering the compomotive because they have been proved, although as said here, we need a hand full of cash Big Cry, and on 18" there is larger variety of tyres than the 19"or 20".

On the same note I don't have brembo brakes, just the normal ones. Without Brembos can I propbably find some cheapper options than the Compos.

I found a set of these second hand, Does anyone use them on an RRS, they are LR3.

Found these at a excellent price, not sure if they are real OEM.....seems to good to be true. Confused

The offset is 53 instead of the 43mm OEM or the compos 44mm wheels have.

With the comps I can use 265/60R18 BFGKO2 with no issues, not sure about these ones though.

Any other 18" rims people are using........

Thanks in advance for the help, would like to rule out all the posibilities.

Thanks.

The TDV6 came standard with 18" rims with optional larger diameter.

Why not just get 18" RRS rims or D3 rims - same basic car and the rims are completely interchangeable and in fact some were available on both vehicles.

In fact if you wanted to you could go to D3 17" rims if you wanted or BMW 17" rims with different wheel nuts.

Thanks Garry,

That was what i was thinking. If i had the Brembos, there was another story.

Found these LRD workshop approved from LR direct.

Cheers,
Antonio
