2019 FFRR L460 to reset the benchmark for luxury SUVs

According to this weeks Autocar magazine LR next generation FFRR launching late in 2019 will out perform the Rolls Cullinan and the Bentayga. BIG claims - I just hope that they get the next version of InControl Touch Pro Duo that is going into it right first time............ it will also feature a host of new technology to keep the car as the top performing luxury offroad vehicle ........ no mention of prices yet but they are expected to climb steeply - L460 will be followed by a new RRS based on a slightly shortened L460 in mid 2020. Also coming in 2019, the new Evoque replacement and cessation of Discovery 5 production in the UK - it will move to the new plant in Slovakia to make room at Solihull for increased RRS and FFRR production. Also as the replacement models come in the old Fird sourced engines will no longer be available, all vehicles will get in-house produced Igenium engines, petrol, diesel, mild hybrid, plug in hybrid and battery electric versions of all power plants are to be introduced as well. The P400E versions will all be replaced in 2019 (2020 model year/ RRS3) with a different battery pack allowed by the new chassis design that allows better packaging of the cells of the HV batteries that will give better electric only range - more than the present 31 miles. All new cars will also be lighter than the current versions and the new generation of straight 6 Ingenium turbo diesels can achieve 80mg/km of NOX emissions well below current requirements. There is no mention of what (if they are to be replaced and not discontinued) the replacements for the SDv8 engine or for the 3.0ltr S/C and 5.0S/C engine’s. There is also to be another more car like Estate car based on the new L460 platform - sort of more luxury estate version of the Velar (the artists impression makes it look like a jacked up Jaguar Sportbrake.....) with less offroad ability coming in 2019.
Forgot to mention the Velar replacement coming in 2023......... it gets a replacement earlier than planned “because it’s powertrain tech will age quickly in its lifetime.........” 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care

Stange, the article on their website states:
2019 evoque
2020 roadrover
2021 range rover
2022 range rover sport

Why a model update end of 2017 en brand new one within 2 years

Because of the demise of Ford supplied engines and the need for more efficient NOX and particulate controls on diesels? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
