CCTV Recomendations

Hi all,

I have an 8 CH CCTV system at the moment that's apparently 1080P but to be honest, the images are rubbish. Connecting with app is slow, reviewing past is soooooo time consuming.
Any recomendations for a good image system, looking for 6 or 8 CH and say 4 or 6 cameras to start with.

Cheers!

You get what you pay for but I have always found Hikvision to be very good. I have a couple of IP networks at different locations and they have been good and reliable. With cameras its the MP that gets the images good - more MP, better picture.

Again features all depend on budget but even the cheapest Hikvision do motion/line crossing these days. NVRs are simple to use, though would recommend a mid-price one with decent HDDs over the cheaper ones. The app works. I wouldn't say its the best but it does all that you need of it and loads images quickly. Playback is quick enough. A good internet connection at the remote end is recommended. Do only get a UK version as Hikvision get arsey about grey imports, which can cause fun and games.
