Hi djb222, I have the same problem but mine only seems to do it when the car is cold. Is this the case with yours? |

I think the starter motor has to come out, so a bit more involved to fit. When I bought mine, they were going to do the belts so I specified that this needed to be sorted at the same time. Encouragingly, the mechanics were aware as soon as I mentioned it.

Hi Bustanut, first time I noticed it the car was fully up to temperature. I'm going on a lengthy trip next week so I'll give it a work out.. |

Took mine in today for this problem and it looks like it’s a blown turbo. |

Bustanut hope for your sake not turbo or worse turbos. My SDV6 did both at once and even via an indy it was north of £3.5k tho I had back belt and pulleys done same time.... while the f n body was off. |

Father Jack, sadly they have confirmed that at least one has gone so it’s a body off job. |

Just gone through the same issue myself and have had both the turbos replaced even though it was one turbo that was gone.

What mileage did yours happen at, both ? Mine was a touch over 80k. Bloody car just switched off which was terrifying though stopped safely, and not trying to crank it saved the engine. |

I bought my RRS off my mother in law lol and since it was a lady owner, I dont think she stuck to the yearly servicing for the 2 years she had it for

Mines only done 54k but it was an old boy had it before that. Possibly change in driving style sent it over the edge. I don’t exactly race it. It’s got full stratstne history but the oil drain pipe mod has not been done. |
