Guys you are all getting too worked up about this mpg malarkey - nobody on this earth buys a car with a 3.0 V6, 4.2 or 5.0ltr V8 Supercharged engine with fuel economy in mind - if they were worried about that then they would be buying a Suzuki Ignis 1.3 which is the UK’s most fuel sipping SUV. You buy a Supercharged Sport for the fun factor or to avoid having to drive through slow moving city traffic in a car with a DPF that blocks up at the blink of an eye. There is a price to pay for having a big capacity high performance engine in an SUV and it is fuel consumption and high VED due to the high CO2 emissions.
