Turbo/smoking help

Hi all a little advice needed here.

So Just had both turbos changed on my car as one was leaking done via warranty claim 🙂

Now the car is still with the garage atm but they are saying that it is still abit smokey because oil got into the exhaust and it will take time to burn off. They said they tried to clean the exhaust system as much as they could but after driving it for a few weeks the smoking should stop.

Does this sound about right?

Yes it does, if oil has got into the exhaust, it will smoke until it’s gone. Probably not to healthy for the Cat etc. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Cat might get a bit bunged up and need replacing. Mine did after being fed some coolant. Is it throwing any EMLs?

No engine management light mate but I've just had a call from the garage to tell me that one of the turbos has started leaking again and they have to now start process all over ffs

Really p***** off at the moment. Feel like the cars been there forever now...4 months ;/

Both turbo's have been replaced with german Hoffman brand...anyone heard of these before... any good??

Just don't understand how a new turbo has already gone...the smoking had nothing to do with the oil in exhaust after all Censored Censored Censored

No idea about turbos I'm afraid, but 4 months! What have they spent all that time on?

no idea as in you never heard of them or no idea about turbo in general lol

According to them work load mate plus I wasn't in any hurry at the beginning as I have a daily car anyway but now to hear this when I actually thought I would be collecting end of next week has ruined my bank holiday weekend.
