My dealer said the same they would support the rejection but JLR can try & fight it but your contract is with the dealer not JLR, I’m just glad my issue eventually got sorted & we are now happy with our purchase, key is to reject within the first 30 days then there is no route for them to try & push you round in circles, after that you will get the dealer blaming JLR, them blaming the dealer & if it’s on finance with JLR ie black horse, them blaming anyone so they don’t end up with a hand back, if I have another and it’s not 100% from day one I won’t even move it from the showroom, took me nearly 4 months & loads of wasted time, phone calls & stress to get my £90k list new car to be the way it should have been from day 1.
Never again, unless you like pain & stress if it’s not right at handover, walk away, that’s my advice!
