I've booked the chauffeur for this end and not needed at the other. What's the bar like onboard? It's barely mentioned in reviews.. Noisy black one

Flew to Dubai and onto Johannesburg, South Africa with them, could have spent a week in the Dubai airport business lounge! All you can eat and drink, including beer, spirits, cocktails, and Champagne. Occupies almost the entire first floor of the airport building!
Aircraft was very comfortable too, a proper fold flat seat/beds. At the time, we picked up flights for a real bargain, not sure I'd want to pay the normal rates though... You can't see the eyes of the demon until him come callin'

No comment Laughing

The staff have said ‘oh typical you’ but, I’m a young guy and have never travelled alone, so ease of travel is much needed! Noisy black one

Just make sure that you don’t end up on any of their 777’s. Even in 1st they are worn out and passed their best. I regularly use them Glasgow to Singapore and Mumbai and I have reduced to using economy Glasgow to DXB and DXB to Mumbai as it isn’t worth the extra to go business or 1st on the 777 out of Glasgow. Biggest advantage of Emirates out of Glasgow or Newcastle is you don’t have to suffer Heathrow T5 and the rudeness of the BA staff there although I find their planes and crews are OK. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I've not managed business class unfortunately but travel to Sydney quite often and, as has been said, the A380 makes a world of difference even in economy. Emirates staff are courteous and helpful. I've found BA flights to Sydney take some beating but they didn't use the A380 on my trip a few years ago and the plane swung it for me so now its Emirates every time.

I thought I heard a rumour that the A380 is being phased out however by all airlines as they can't make it pay. That's be a shame, its a magnificent plane. Robin
