Cooling hoses
Venting coolant
Well after pulling my hair out I finally
Got there after replacing engine in 2.7
Sport I new I would have a few teething
Problems mine was coolant just above the cold
On gauge when I got it nearly up to nearly half way
On gauge I would watch it drop down to cold
Sitting in traffic or driving
Mostly when driving wouldn't get above cold
Anyway replaced stat remained the same
Replaced temp sensor still the same
Replaced radiator and expansion tank cap
Remained same
Replaced stat again still the same
So that is when I started to question myself
I must of crossed a coolant hose
Shrouds off viscous off checking all hoses
Head falling off endless searching on net
Vented coolant again and again
Picked up old expansion tank cap by mistake
Out for another drive and the temp gauge shot up
To half way and stayed there I was shouting at the
top of my voice yes yes yes she's now perfect
So the moral of my story is because it's new
Doesn't mean it will work correctly
As I found out although rad did need changing
Due to partially blockage I didn't expect
The new cap to fail !!!
