Don’t most people finance their cars by PCP? Surely the increase on this basis is minor? |

Every £1000 adds around £30 a month on PCP so a £4k increase like on my like for like MY18 vs MY19 would cost me £135 a month more - it's not as minor as it sounds - £1620 over 12 months or £4860 over 36 months! |

135 a month is substantial. I thought it would be circa 30 to 50 quid max.

Will you get a factory order 2018MY now, may be too late as it will be too close to Sept 1st emissions rules change to deliver and register. Might get an excellent deal on an ex-demo or management car or a car that is built and in stock that they will be really really keen to get registered before the change because if it isn’t sold they will have to register it anyway to avoid it going in the crusher....... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim, Speaking as a pensioner I entirely agree. Many years ago I was advised to never spend more 40% of your salary on a car, ie, if you earn £100k don't spend more than £40k. I've kept to this and as a result on retirement my budget has changed. It's just a fact of life that we have to adapt too and if a RR is too expensive there are plenty of other options. Tim Tim RRS sold and replaced with a Skoda Kodiaq after appalling RR Dealer experience and LR inability to supply new cars in any sort of reasonable time frame.. |

Tim there are no MY18 car's lying around anywhere around here - apparently all sold out. A couple of friends are desperately trying to find one after taking a ride in my car last week and they have tried 3 local dealers who all say it will need to be an MY19 car now as all MY18 are sold out - so "an excellent deal" on an MY18 won't be possible at all. One had an HSE listed to £71k and they were not willing to give a penny off. |

That's list price though, which is no longer the price you pay. I got £10k off mine 6 months ago. I'm led to believe that wasn't the case in 2015. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB Evoque MY17 TD4 AB |

Ive been told that the MY18 facelift is the last of the “big” cosmetic changes on the RRS...the new FFRR model will be launched sometime in Q1 2020 followed by the RRS sometime in Q4 2020 or Q1 2021. No major changes expected for further MY updates inside too as the entire RR model line up apart from the evoque now use the touch pro duo system. I think its a safe time to buy one if you are in the market for one. As always...please don’t ask me how I know..I just do |
