I know JLR’s excuse for the “fault” - wrong sort of climate - the Car is meant to be used in the cold and wet.............. not sunny and desert dry.... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Not been to the dealer yet will wait and see if the code re occurs. I have a simple blue tooth connected code reader that can tell you where the issue is, which helps me decide whether to call roadside or not. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

A few days now since I did the reset and all seems well. Hope that there is no return of the issue. Fixed with cheap OBDP and phone app. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |

Well the code re appeared and I decided to call into the dealer. I like it when I can talk to the tech and the Guy at Illawarra Landrover is great. Showed him the code, and he said the only other time he has seen this is when the wire loom has rubbed against firewall usually on start up when the torque twists the engine. Well my fault is always at start. Fix is bending some brackets out of the way . So if anyone else gets this fault this is perhaps a starting point.
