2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Parking Sensor intermittent

9 /10 times my parking sensors are fine. they come on automatically when I'm in reverse and if I'm pulling up a drive I can press the P button and they come on.

That 1/10 time the P light on the button will just flash and I get no audible warning.
This is an intermittent fault and has not yet happened twice in a row.

Any ideas what could be causing this or is it something I'm doing wrong ?

Could just be one sensor on its way out; I had the same symptoms then it progressed to total failure over a period of a few weeks. Turned out to be just one sensor needed replacing. Longer description here:
