Hi,

Checking the sunroof drain pipes today. Noticed that the driver's side wasn't flowing very fast. I took the side vent off and pulled forward the rubber section to check the drain pipe outlet. Noticed that there is a sponge type insert wedged in area of drain pipe outlet. The sponge insert was full of water and actually restricting the water flow through the pipe. Is that sponge type insert supposed to be there? And if the water is backed up on the driver's side sunroof pipe, where does the water get directed to and what electrics could it get to?
