Rear DVD's for the kids

I want to put rear DVD’s in the headrests of my 2009 Facelift RRS.
I want this to be a professional job, so after recommendations.

I'm in the Romford / Essex area.

I thought about this too.

Decide to buy Amazon Fire tablets (Kids edition, includes 2 years warranty with accidental damage) as the kids can use anywhere. Rear DVD are limited to the car.
They can watch movies, you tube, net flix play games and read books. So much choice.

(Movies, you tube, netflix etc may need a data connection, but just sync to my phone and away they go).

Just an option, Good luck in finding whats right for you Thumbs Up 2014MY RRS SDV6 HSE Black Stealth with 22" Black alloys - LOVE IT (Now wrapped in 3M Satin Dark Grey)

Yeah the kids already have a fire and an ipad (5 + 10).

Never thought of hot spotting my phone for the Fire connection.

Will still get the DVD's in he back though. So I can get in the back and watch TV while I wait for the girls to finish ballet Smile

^^^

Have to agree with the chap above. I'd never spec a vehicle with built in rear seat entertainment because of the ridiculous cost and limited usability.

Had an X5 previously with the above built-in but can't remember it ever being used. that at a time when my kids were pretty young.

I think you can buy rear-set holders for tablets? I'm sure you want something more streamlined but that's the route I would suggest.

My car came with the after market Rosen kit. The older kits have been quite reasonable on epay. The new kits come with a replacement headrest to match your vehicle so you don’t need to destroy your old one and then you can resell the vehicle and kit separately later. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
