2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Lux Java Black

Oil pump question

I read on a thread somewhere that if changing the 2 belts at the front (auxiliary) that shortly after there is a chance of the oil pump failing?? How big a job is this on a tdv8 and should I be concerned as my car has just done 102.000 and I am having the two belts changed .......is it just bad luck if oil pump goes or is it a common fault to be aware of 😩

TDV8 does not suffer from oil pump failure in the same way the TDV6 does

The 2 belts you will have replaced are the aux drive belts

Would you recommend oil pump changevwhen doing the belts on a 2012 my sdv6 ?
