Noticed my nearside front looked low, it was, down at 15. Thought I’d better get it checked out in case it was a slow puncture.................OH NOOOOOO, that would be the cheap option.....................only cracked an alloy!!! |

Evey time I walk to the car on the driveway, I give it a quick visual check. The last thing you want to do is to drive half a mile down the road to find out that you've knackered a perfectly good tyre that was flat when you set off. Plus if you see it's flat on your drive, you can change it there and then with access to your tools/jack/scruffy clothes.

Couple of times a month, usually just after a wash together with checking fluid levels.

Every couple of weeks, reducing the consumption of tyres and fuel running up and down the A303 everyday. I use a pencil gauge and did have one of those Ring compressors but it seemed very fragile so just use the local Morrisons then adjust; although the Garage pump is not far off what the pencil gauge says.....

Not often enough apparently. Checked them the other day to find OSR was low. Pumped it up but it went down over 4-5 days. So slow puncture! Took it to be fixed yesterday - "Sir, we've not repaired your tyre as its getting near the mark and you're going to need a new one soon".
