DO NOT BUY WIRELESS PHONE CHARGER

Hi, So after picking up my new SVR last week, there have been a number of issues, most of which have been mentioned in a number of other threads.

One that REALLY bugged me is the quality of the New wireless charger that RR offer...

It takes up one cup holder and in principle seemed a good idea....

I was super excited to use it as soon as I picked up the car...(Bit of a tech geek!!)

Then.........

When I went to insert my phone in (iPhone X with Apple Silicone Case..)

It didn't fit....!!!!!!!

£310 (approx) and my phone doesn't effing fit!!!!!!

Ive tried my mrs iPhone 7 and that doesn't fit with a case either... (iPhone Plus.. you have no chance!!)

My phone does fit without a case... but if I didn't have a case on my phone id be paying £200 a week to get the screen fixed!!

So, if I were you, if you have ordered or are looking to order...... DONT!!!

Williams LR Manchester have said they will remove it and refund, but the problem is that I live in Devon!! Nightmare!

Had wireless charging in my Q7 which any phone would fit as it simply sat under the arm rest , but I don't think it would be able to charge if the back was covered in a case anyway . Don't you have to plug the phone in anyway to get in control apps to work or is that wireless now ?
