Facelift SVRs 10mm narrower tyres

Does anyone know why JLR went from the optional 295/40R22 tyre on the prefacelift SVR’s and on the facelift they went down to the optional 285/40R22 tyre size?

My only guess is that the 285 are M+S

This is just a guess but possibly to try and help lessen the tramlining you can get with the 295 sections?

It was for more M+S options in the 285 size 2020 SVR / R.I.P. 2019 SVR / 2016 D4 Landmark / 2005 D3 HSE
