So not a lot of info out there so thought I'd put something up. I will do a complete walk though once I have it all finished off but so far I know..

You can activate the timed climate on all L494 v8 and v6. They all have the heater fitted to deal with sub zero temperatures. All you have to do is tell the car it has timed climate and it will work. You can do this with Autologic machine or with a IID machine. personally I called a local garage who had a AL and got them to activate it.

As for the remote control. some people say you need to fit a new TV/PARKED CLIMATE control unit but this is BS it would fit I have tried. I have ordered a remote receiver ecu and have located the connector (right hand side boot just pull off trim and it's near the rear light) so when this comes I'll post if it works or not.
