Got a call from The Old Man today, the handbrake is stuck on, he's in the middle of the road, how soon can I get there?

EPB well and truly stuck on, manual release is moving freely but won't seem to release the shoes!
Had to get it recovered back to mine.
The amount of dim witted imbeciles that drove straight up to the back of me while it was stranded (considering I was in plain view for about a quarter of a mile, on a straight road) was truly astounding! That's another story though!
I've been reading up on all the EPB issues and I'm going to try to reset the module tomorrow, any advice is welcomed as I'll have limited time and don't want it stranded on the driveway. Best scenario is get it released so I can get it in garage to fully strip down. Daily... Audi TT 240 qS, tasteful mods.
Weekend toy... 5' 6", 9 stone, original bodywork!

Jack up back end remove spare
Above diff you can see e p b motor
Take out fuse for e p b
Undo couple of securing bolts
And I was able to spin motor in situ
To tap long bolts that wind cable pulleys
To slacken them off
Get a long flat bladed screw driver
I welded one to a peace of flat bar
Give them a whack and hopefully
They will start to realease
There are two threaded bolt things that
Are on both sides of motor hope this helps
There is plenty of advise on e p b
On this forum
And then leave fuse out
until you can strip down find out what's wrong good luck

Had this issue with mine last year,, emergency release does not always work as I found out as well. I the nd it cost me for new disc's, shoes and Epb module as even cutting the cables would not free it. I was advised to have the rear brakes regularly serviced to prevent it happening again. 2010 RRS, TDV8

Been underneath the ruddy thing since 09:00 this morning, just got back in house now!
Got the cover off the module (eventually) 8 screws??? To hold a piece of plastic on??? Then sealant that would prevent The Moon moving any further away from Earth, it's that strong! Tried everything to get it to free off... Nothing! !
Ended up cutting the n/s cable, just so I can get her mobile!
