2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Java Black

Removing the Fog Lamp surrounds?

I've recently picked up a 2014 RRS. It's an HSE, and not a Dynamic, so the trims are mostly silver, and I want to replace them with black. Replacing the grille with a black one was easy enough, but the surrounds for the fog lamps down on the lower bumper appear to be held in place with screws as well as plastic tabs.

Is this a bumper-off adventure, or is there a way to remove the surrounds without removing the bumper, lights etc.

I found I could get my hand behind the fog lamps by using the gap below them, but there's not a lot of room to access with tools etc.

I got mine sprayed by chipsaway man ‘in situ’ when he was fixing a small scratch. Cost me £80 and looks factory.

Removing them is a nightmare.

Maybe get them wrapped in gloss Black. I went this route and was very pleased with the results

I used Plasti dip spray to do that job on my Mercedes. Very quick and low cost solution. SVR with a few bits from Urban and Glohh

Plasti dip all the way, did my fog lights, side and front vents and alloys.
