a May 2015 car will be 306 BHP. Mine was manufactured in Feb 2015 and registered 1st March and it was the 306 so yours will most certainly be that. |

Rule of thumb, if it is an HSE then most likely to be 292hp, if HSE Dynamic or Autobiography Dynamic (all Autobiography are Dynamic in UK) then it will be 306hp and have the full Terrain Response with the additional Dynamic setting on the far left of the rotary selector - plain HSE’s / 292hp RRS don’t have that. I’m not sure about this but IIRC all HSE’s after 2016MY are also 306hp, regardless of whether or not they have the Dynamic mode. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes all trims (inc HSE) moved over to 306bhp at same time in 2015, so you will get 15 plate and 65 plate 306bhp cars from MY15.5 (ie those without MY16 features like revised heated seats through temp display etc) onwards.

Sorry Tim completely wrong info above. As i said my Feb 2015 manufactured standard HSE was a 306BHP car. MY15.5 cars and above were all 306 BHP. I remember this well as the 306 was not on any insurers database but my V5 doc had 306 on it - the insurers eventually caught up and my insurance went up by £20 for the invreased BHP!! |

As far as I know that is not possible and if it was then the car would have been manufactured before Feb 2015 and then registered later. |

My V5 doesnt have the hp only the emissions which is 185. So I'm not too sure whether its 292 or 306 myself |

Yes but it seems that from March 2015 LR fitted MY15 cars with the euro6 engines but not the change in equipment. Hence me asking about finding the build date. |
