yes that's the one , but also 2 more come on first , it only happens on long trips and normally when i apply the breaks , i have come back from Somerset and my wife has the car and has had no warning lights at all come on since . but thank you for the reply and i will check the levels tonight |

It is quite common for the brake light switch to cause problems of all sorts. The switch with time, suffers from arcing and carbon build up internally. The part is about £15 and takes 10 minutes to change. Worth a try? I had exactly that recently , changed the brake light switch dead easy, all sorted now |

I don`t understand how a brake light switch issue would cause a dynamic response warning light Got me thinking that this may be my problem. Steve. |

Hi mate I think it’s simply the fact that the contacts in the two switches in the pedal switch start to arc and cause volt spikes and things in the electrical system which just make it confused |
