Warning Lights just come on

Good morning all
I have only had the RRS 2007 for 2 weeks and on a long drive to Somerset on Friday i had 3 warning lights come on all yellow , the hand break sign the ABS and then the picture of the car with arrows pointing left and right, when theses come on it cut out the cruise control and the lights on the suspension raiser bottom went out, i stopped turn the key off restarted the car and then it cleared all the lights , 5 miles later they all come on again , this was my trip round Somerset Friday / Saturday every so often the light come on . i must say it did not in any way alter the drive or stability of the car , it was just bloody annoying.

Any help would be grateful on the cause

Thank you

Ideally you need the fault codes read.

Is this the one you mean with the arrows?

If so it`s the dynamic response warning. Might be worth checking the level of the fluid in the reservoir located below...

When mine comes on (red) it tells me to slow to 30mph and it drives like a clown car....very annoying. Steve.

It is quite common for the brake light switch to cause problems of all sorts. The switch with time, suffers from arcing and carbon build up internally. The part is about £15 and takes 10 minutes to change. Worth a try?

How to is here:

PS. - You should also check the stop and tail bulbs are good quality (Osram) both working properly and there is no corrosion in the bulb holder. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

I don`t understand how a brake light switch issue would cause a dynamic response warning light Confused Got me thinking that this may be my problem. Steve.

Hi mate I think it’s simply the fact that the contacts in the two switches in the pedal switch start to arc and cause volt spikes and things in the electrical system which just make it confused
