Possibly buying again, FBH question.

Hi guys,

I am looking at a 2015 RRS SV8 auto biography dynamic.

Do they have the FBH fitted as standard? Can I set the start time of the heater and remote control them? If not, what's required to?

V8 - yes fitted as standard

The control for timed heat/remote control has to be enabled, mine wasnt and the techies on this site initially showed interest in enabling it then went all quiet. 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

Why if fitted as standard would it not be enabled ? I've had 3 AB's - 2 L320 fitted - enabled & remote controlled. The 3rd a 2014 L494 fitted & again remote working

tb1- where have you been ? - do you have access to Topix & the new vehicles VIN number - this will then allow you to see all the specs of the RRS 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Hi Peachy!

Long time no speak!

I am just looking at Auto trader at one at the moment so no VIN etc.
Been silly and had a C63s for almost two years lol

How does the 4.4 feel comepared to the 3.0l in the L320 I had?

Any thing else that can be added with few / little parts and switched on etc?

Because LR see the opportunity to charge for every option to make more money for what is a software setting. The original purchaser saw fit not to pay for that option.

The FBH is primarily fitted to get the V8 engine up to temperature in cold weather so cabin warming is an option. 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

4.4 is beautiful, I love it. OK so not in petrol V8 territory but the sheer power and urge when you press the loud pedal is addictive whilst still averaging an indicated 31MPG on the computer (which is probably lying but who cares) 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

Has anyone gone from the old 3.0 L320 to this L494 4.4?
How do they perform against one another?

4.4 walks over the L320 in all aspects. Power, handling and economy all better on the 4.4.

Only the seats are better on the L320 , it took a lot of fiddling to get the 4.4 near to comfortable. 2016 RRS 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography Dynamic in Montalcino Red and Stealth Kit

Hi ya,

If the FBH isn't turned on to allow it to be climate timed heater, I guess it can just be switched on? What's involved to get it to work via phone app. Possible?
