If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

Fancy having a go at this with your RRS? ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4

If someone stumps up for tyres and suspension bits etc, then sure, why not? Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I bet the suspension compressor was a bit hot by the time he made it to the summit and it looks like he left it normal,or access height too rather than off-road which would have possibly lowered the car at that speed........ good show LR but how many bits shook off doing that? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I didnt know that the hybrid had a V8 - or is that exhaust note deceiving me.

Rather pointless exercise. Not sure what LR are trying to prove.

^^ My thoughts exactly. I did something far more satisfying (and less pointless) in mine yesterday ... driving in/on lots of snow amid stunning scenery. Effortlessly and comfortably. When Iโ€™m back, I might even post some pictures and a video when I have some time to edit. Wonโ€™t be as professional as the LR one though Laughing Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

It's marketing. It's trying to prove how versatile the vehicle is and how being a PHEV doesn't stop it being effective. The on road bit shows its sporty side, the f'king steep climb up the steps shows how good traction and control is

Is there a point? Other than "because we can"? Not really. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It was interesting to watch, is there a video of them driving the car back down?

Having driven down a 1:1 slope, albeit only about 6-8m I Censored wouldn't drive back down. Shocked
I liked the bit where they were doing the testing. Shows that momentum is an important factor in getting up.
Not sure they could have done it in a diseasel.

the part were the driver was sat at the bottom of the steps, was actually speeded up if you notice Wink

The driver was in fact parked there for 14 hours whilst they recharged the PHEV battery up again, to provide the torque he needed to get up the steps Rolling with laughter
