Hi Guys.

I was fitting my new genuine mud guards today on my sport and had the jack out from the boot, decided to take my spare alloy out of the boot too which is very heavy to lift at that angle!!!

Anyway when i removed the wheel i saw a big black box sort of shape with clips all around it, i thought it maybe the sub ? But not sure !

Any help would be appreciated

It's the starting battery / capacitor unit for the stop/start.
