Hi guys, looking for some advice:

Went out to the car the other day, pressed the key fob and ...... nothing.

Thought it was the key fob, so off to the main dealer, £200 later a new key arrives.
Then arranged the mobile locksmith to code the key to the car.... key has coded but the central locking is not working a all, rendering the car still unusable.

Has anyone else had this happen, if so how did you fix it ?
This is on a 2005 Range Rover sport SC 2005 Rang Rover Supercharged

so does the key work at all ie will it start the car if you go through the passenger door if it will not open the car through the remote
