Is this not the cheap Eurocar parts own brand of oil ? Never used it myself but I'm of the thinking, If your not sure if it's any good to use just buy something you know is ok if only to give yourself peace of mind. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior
2012 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography santorini black with ebony/cirrus interior. Gone

Rather than the cheapest Oil out there...Whats the very best for the engine ?

I'd rather pay a bit more and have peace of mind that I'm giving the engine the best possible chance of a long life...?

Oil is a very subjective thing. Not many people know that oil X is better than oil Y.

There are however plenty of people/manufactures only too happy to take lots of money off you claiming theirs is a
Superior oil.

As ever regular changes and using a grade recommend by the manufacture is usually more cost effective, espically when doing the work yourself.

i have used the below company for my old MB C240 before. Not sure if they give discount for LR but if you put
MBCLUB in the promo section you will get a discount.

The triple qx 5w30 fully synthetic is a c3 oil and to meets the requirements for tdv6 with or without a dpf. It also meets some vw, bmw, Ford and Mercedes specs.
I have used the oil before for a few years in many cars without problem.
I am currently using shell ultra professional for the past 2 years same specs but includes dexos 2 for Vauxhall also without problem never had a car back from either oil.
Just been offer comma oil also same specs for £290 for 200 litres so may give this a try soon .
Most oil like the fuel you buy is all made from the same base line ingredients and is just given different additives to the meet The specs required for price and brand etc.
The key is regular changes and keeping to the service schedules
