New to RRS and common faults

Hello! Im gonna going to look at a RRS SC 07 this weekend, and i wonder what is the
Common faults on the supercharged and what should i look into on this car?
Except the normal stuff like maintance history, corrosion diffrent places, the air suspensions saging.
And what should give me the «red flags»?
I been reading that diffrent bushes are easily worn, tie rods and the wheel bears, its a massiv car
After all!

im new to range rover, always been a bmw guy, but now I tired of getting stuck in the snow and I want proper SUV and I need a car that can tow heavy stuff, im tired of borrow my friends taho all the time

Welcome to the forum mate. From my past experience....ANYTHING is better than a BMW in snow Laughing

I have a s/c and I bought the first one I looked.....didn`t really research it much...just had to have it.

I`m sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon Thumbs Up Steve.

No expert but I would check,

EPB applies/releases without issue,
Suspension raises lowers without fault.
Drive test hi-lo gears. Special programs function.
Drive 20-30 mph over a (mild) pot hole see if you get any odd suspension bangs/knocks. (roll bars)
Drive 5mph and tap the breaks, should not knock from front. (front arms/ bushes)
Rear Break lines prone to corrosion.
All doors open and lock on remote.
Parking sensors all work.
Spare wheel? often missing and the winder cable mechanism is usually cut. Theft.
Electric seats work. Heated seats work, AC blows Hot and cold

Agree with everyone else's comments. I bough my first SC (2005) about 16 months ago and haven't looked back (except in the rear view mirror at the people left standing at the lights!)

One other thing to check, the right hand pedal. I thought mine was faulty because every time I press it I get this insane grin on my face, turns out it's normal Very Happy

Good luck and enjoy! 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?
