2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Alaska White

Towbar Recommendations

I'm looking for recommendations on a detachable towbar that will fit under the rear bumper cover on a 2018 RRS when the neck is removed.

It is only for occasional use, so I'm not bothered about having to remove the cover to fit the towbar and I'd prefer not to have to get the tow cover with the larger opening.

I've looked at Brink, Witter and Westfalia, but I can't get a straight answer from any of the suppliers, as to whether it will fit under the cover or not.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated?!

Hi,
dont know how different the 2018 is to a 2016

ours had a L/R (westfalia) fitted by the dealer and we had to just turn the electrics socket slightly to fit the original full cover

sold the cover to another owner who had and aftermarket towbar fitted (think it was a brink?) and it fitted with out anything being moved have to question how it was fitted though as they had just took a hacksaw to the original full cover so you could fit the bat without removing it

Judging by the pictures, the receiver on the westfalia protrudes slightly more than others, so hopefully any model detachable will fit.

I recently had a detachable Tow Trust on my 18MY and its great (fitted by North West Towbars was £586 inc 13 pin and LED capability)
