Hi,

Does anyone know the reasoning around the orange accent on the headlights? Can't seam to find anything after googling and
looking round the forum. I always assumed it was because of the width but it appears the MY18 headlight not longer have it?

It's something that I have grown to like as means they always jump out at night time compared to other cars.

The orange lights at the front were for side marker lamps or running lamps as they used to be called in the USA - orange at the front and red at the back. They illuminate when the side lights are switched on.
My old Discovery 2 had them and my current L320 has them but the bulb holders are missing (not fitted from the factory).
LR have probably deleted them for 2018 in markets which don't require side marker lamps (to save money).

Personally I like the side marker lamps, really defines the car. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

The amber is probably for the US market and now the lights are fully LED any part of the light can be tailored to any colour to suite the appropriate market. Maybe........  2010 RR 5.0 Autobiography
