Isn’t there something on here about a leaky windscreen seal as well causing this. Also check your filter behind the glove box for damp IIRC Robin

My issue was the seal along the bottom.

ok, thanks for the replies. The footwell is on the driver side (LHD), the passenger side leaked last year but has been fixed and shows no signs of pain yet. The windscreen cowling has been 'loose' for a good while - over a year and hasn't shown to be the problem

And mine was the windscreen scuttle panel leak.
